Adecco Professional, through its specialization line in Engineering & Industrial, is recruiting for its client a, Manager Development and Engineering Synthetic.
This Professional will have the following responsibilities:
• Leading the development engineers for synthetic products worldwide;
• Manage the construction/design deliverables in accordance with construction requirements and Client’s expectations;
• Responsible to meet performance, quality, costs and timing on the new product development projects;
• Work closely with product planners, customer service, salespersons, cost accounting, manufacturing, and product engineers concerning customer requests in order to expeditiously assess whether customer requirements could be met and that the product is manufacturable and economically feasible;
• Follow the new designed products through initial production and verification testing according to a stage gate process;
• Provide assistance and technical support when quality issues arise;
• Assist the R&D team during new product development efforts throughout all phases of design, prototype production, internal verification testing, and field testing according to the innovation plan.
The Candidates should gather the following requirements:
• Degree in textile, chemical, polymer or mechanical Engineering;
• At least 5 years of experience in industry;
• At least 3 years of experience in a managing/leadership function;
• Good communication skills and team player;
• Familiar with working in an international environment;
• High level of English written and spoken and German, Dutch as a third language (preferably);
• Strong technical and analytical skills;
• Good understanding of trigonometry and geometrical design (preferably);
• Target focused;
• Pro-active mind-set;
• Willingness to periodic international travel.
