We are looking to fill the following position at our Loures plant:
PAT Specialist
Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, this person will be responsible for implementing the activities plan for productivity and process performance improvement, assuring that HSE and GMP requirements are respected.
Requirements:
•University degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering;
•At least 2 years experience in industrial operational areas;
•Team management and leadership experience;
•Management skills;
•Availability to travel abroad to support all manufacturing sites;
•Lean and 6 Sigma know-how will be valued;
•Structured mind-set and ability to analyze data for troubleshooting;
•Good human relationship;
•Good communication skills;
•Teamwork ability.
Responsibilities:
•Increase manufacturing process understanding and control, implementing on-line/ faster analytical technologies and statistical tools to enhance operational efficiency;
•Test new technologies and extend areas of application of existing technologies, aligning PAT solutions with company technological growth, innovation initiatives and business strategy;
•Identify productivity opportunities across Hovione sites and define appropriate methodology and tools to address it;
•Support operational teams on successful implementation of methodologies and tools, promoting appropriate training and providing technical coaching in daily application, guaranteeing that tools are being properly used in all areas and in all sites;
•Active participation in continuous improvement, risk management and troubleshooting activities;
•Develop and deploy visual management tools;
•Be an active technical representative in scientific external events, enhancing a recognized awareness of Hovione’s technical skills in the industry;
•Promote strategic liaison with specific external providers (industrial, academia, associations and regulators).
