The Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera, I.P. (IPMA) opens a call, within 10 days from the date of publication of this notice, to award one Research grant, within the framework of the project funded by the European Commission, Directorate – General for Maritime affairs and fisheries atlantic, outermost regions and artic, maritime policy atlantic, outermost regions and artic, EMODnet- Geology2 (Knowledge base for growth and innovation in ocean economy: assembly and dissemination of marine data for seabed mapping and for the dissemination of research results)

Job summary
This scholarship is intended for holders of a graduation in Geophysics, Geological Engineering or similar. The grantee will collect, interpret, analyze and include marine seismic data into geophysical databases.
We offer:
Subsidy of monthly salary of research scholarships, according to the amounts in force and the corresponding research grants from FCT. The contract is for 12 months, possible renewable until the end of project. The workplace is IPMA (Rua C do aeroporto, Lisboa, Portugal).
Requirements:
This scholarship is intended for researchers with a graduation in Geophysics, Geological Engineering or similar areas. There is a preference for people with strong experience in the interpretation and analysis of seismic data and geoscientific database inputting.

· Photocopies of the documents attesting the professional skills/experiences, such as: recommendation letters, certification of courses and professional experience, etc.;

Publication of results / notification: The final evaluation results will be publicized with a list sorted by final grade obtained in a visible and public place, with the successful candidate notified via email.
